The Tattoo Process: A Step-by-Step Guide

Updated: Aug 5

Getting a tattoo can be an exciting and meaningful experience, but it's important to be prepared and informed about the process. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you navigate the process of getting a tattoo at Rebel Studio:

1. Consultation: The first step in the tattoo process is to schedule a consultation with your tattoo artist. This is an opportunity to discuss your tattoo ideas and preferences, as well as to get a sense of the artist's style and portfolio. At Rebel Studio, we offer a range of consultation options, including in-person on online (email or messaging)

2. Design: Once you've had a chance to discuss your tattoo ideas with your artist, it's time to start designing your tattoo. This can involve creating custom designs, adapting existing designs, or working from reference images. At Rebel Studio, we offer a complete custom design service for realism tattoos.

3. Booking: Once we've finalized your tattoo design, it's time to schedule your tattoo appointment. At Rebel Studio, we offer a range of booking options, including ASAP, 3-6 months, and 6 months plus. We'll work with you to find the best option to meet your schedule and availability.

4. Preparation: Before your tattoo appointment, it's important to prepare yourself both physically and mentally. This can involve getting a good night's sleep, eating a healthy meal, and making sure you're hydrated. It's also a good idea to arrive at your appointment with a clear idea of what you want and to have any reference materials ready.

5. Procedure: During the tattoo procedure, your tattoo artist will clean your skin, apply a stencil, and begin tattooing. The process can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours, depending on the size and complexity of the tattoo. At Rebel Studio, we offer a range of amenities to help you stay comfortable and relaxed during the process, including comfortable chairs, complimentary refreshments, and an option of Netflix or music.

6. Aftercare: After your tattoo is complete, it's important to follow your artist's aftercare instructions to ensure that your tattoo heals properly and looks its best. This can involve keeping the tattoo clean and moisturized, avoiding certain activities, and wearing loose-fitting clothing.

By following these steps and working with a skilled and experienced tattoo artist, you can be confident that you'll get a tattoo that you'll be proud to show off for years to come.

At Rebel Studio, we are committed to providing a personal and highly skilled tattoo experience to all of our clients. If you're ready to get your next tattoo, we invite you to book a consultation and take the first step in the tattoo process.
