Hercules in a lion headdress covering an old coloured tiger

Nathan had an old coloured Japanese piece, a tiger in bamboo, across his shoulder and upper arm. We covered it with Hercules wearing the lion's head as a headdress, with clouds underneath.

The lion's mane and Hercules's curled hair and beard give plenty of dark texture to bury the old colour, while keeping the face as the focal point.

This was the first of two sittings: 6 hours so far, with around 3 more to finish once it's fully healed.
