Which animals work best in black and grey realism?

Anything with strong contrast in the face — big cats, wolves, owls and stags all read clearly from across a room and still hold up close. A single animal head on a forearm or calf is typically a 6-hour full day sitting.

Portfolio · Black & Grey Realism

Wildlife Tattoos

Lions, wolves, tigers, owls, elephants and stags in black and grey realism, as stand-alone pieces and as the focal points of themed sleeves. Fur, feathers and eyes are what I spend the time on.
